Some homebrew shops buy in bulk quantities, and repackage them improperly. Our Whole leaf hops, pellets and plugs are vacuum packaged in oxygen-barrier bags or nitrogen purged in light resistant bags to prevent oxidation and loss of flavor.

Hop plugs have the best of both words!
These are Whole Leaf hops that are easy to measure because they are compressed into 1/2 oz plugs. That means that they take up less space in the freezer than traditional whole leaf hops. They also have a reduced surface area, which means they stay fresher, longer. Best of all, they aren’t ground and processed like pelletized hops!
