Breathable foam makes the perfect airlock for flasks or even Better Bottles. They can be sanitized by boiling, autoclaving, or soaking in a sanitizer solution. The “honeycomb” structure keeps wild yeasts and airborne bacteria out, while letting CO2 gas escape. Fits 35 mm - 45 mm openings.
Borosilicate glass is resistant to thermal shock, so it can go right from direct heat to an ice bath without cracking. (Do not use directly on electric stove tops please!). Making a large yeast starter will ensure that you get the best possible performance from your yeast.
